Elemental Yoga was created from my own healing journey, I studied Fine Art in my early 20's and found myself creativity blocked by panic attacks and extreme anxiety.
I knew I did not want to live my life in this way and that I had so much untapped potential.
I turned to yoga, meditation and dance to heal mind and body. Along the way I discovered an
embodied approach to healing and a way back to balance with myself and the world around me.
Teaching has become a natural extension of my own healing journey, and has become a soul purpose to pass on this inspiring
Elemental Yoga healing journey.

The concept of the Five Elements is derived from various Ancient Traditions including Ayurveda and Qigong and are fundamental principles which support the harmony of mind and body.

Each of the Five Elements --- EARTH, WATER, FIRE, AIR, ETHER ---- is associated with specific qualities, organs, emotions and seasons. These five elements reside within you and understanding them and their effects on your body can help you better connect with yourself and nature.

One way to get better attuned with the elements is to incorporate them into your yoga practice. Yoga is a great way to strengthen your connection with your body and mind and create balance within.

At Elemental Yoga we create yoga classes, Yoga Session series, Private classes, Retreats and Courses that evoke the specific qualities and characteristics of each Element by incorporating them into the yoga practice.
